On my 2008 wrangler. I have to have the dimmer control, on the steering wheel light arm control, at a certain position for the dome light to operate when the doors open. One notch below the on position.

Yes, the defroster button would be (is) on the same dial as the a/c button. The wiper/washer controls are on the control arm at the steering column.

I already have the unit on my rear window and the electrical and water connections inside. ( see pics). The problem is, I don’t have the up front controls which I believe come all together on the wiper control arm on the steering column ? My control arm has no rear window wiper/washer/defrost...
