Long story short...I have a 2016 Rubicon. I have Fox 2.0 shocks in the length that is listed as being for 0-2" of lift. I recently got a nice deal on a lift kit that is supposed to provide 2.5" of lift. I understand that I SHOULD go with longer shocks, but do I NEED to? What problems can I expect? What solutions are there other than switching out the shocks? Shock extensions? Just run with it? Thanks for any advice/help.

This one is a DD mostly. I do some mild offroading a couple times a year in this vehicle. I have an older JKU that I use if I'll be doing anything messy.

What you could do with it now would be to have someone jack the front up and then watch to see how far it goes until the shock bottoms out at the top. Then do the same thing on the rear, that will tell you how much stroke you have.
