Installing 2008 Cruise Control

Hello,

I am new and a first time jeep owner. We recently purchased a 2008 Wrangle X (2 door) in mint condition. It has no cruise control. My research discovered a do it yourself kit provided by Chrysler but is no longer available P/n 82210216 (3 parts). However, the individual parts appear to be available. Is there anyone out there who recently 2020 - present who ordered the three parts individually and installed them successfully? If so can you provide the part numbers? Many Thanks

Just wanted to see if you checked RockAuto sometimes they have parts that are not available elsewhere. I also had good luck with https://www.mymoparparts.com/ I am not positive but believe they are a third party seller of some sort and I have good response from them, even with letting them know what I am looking for and getting a response from them.

Did you get the parts and installed on your jeep? I have a 08 X plain Jane ordered parts from a salvage yard just got them installed and doesn’t work wondering if it’s bad parts or it just won’t work on my jeep or even if there is a fuse I’m not seeing.

I just picked up my JK about 2 weeks ago and it is about as bare bones as you can get. Even though I won't be putting a ton of miles on it, I will be using it for commuting during crappy winter weather. My commute is 120 miles a day on the highway so cruise control was an absolute must. So here...

Thanks everything is installed and not working so I’ve got to troubleshoot my salvage yard parts and see if that’s the issue or if I have the only bone stock X that doesn’t have the option to install cruise.
 
Yep had a bad cruise control switch. That’s the risk you run buying salvage. Different switch and it works great the best mod I’ve done to the jeep.
