Hey everyone!

A month or two ago I installed the pypes high cat back exhaust. Definitely loving it except one thing. When I am at low speeds such as backing out of the driveway I believe the tail end is rattling on the frame. Not the biggest deal in the world as when I drive on the road it eventually goes away. But im curious to know if anyone has any suggestions as maybe putting something between the tail and the frame to buffer it? It definitely has to be heat proof or resistant I'm sure

If the cat back unit is specifically for your year jeep it shouldn’t be hitting the frame.

Did you install it ?

Maybe you didn’t push it onto the exhaust pipe far enough before clamping it.

If your rubber brackets have enough play in them, you could cut your existing exhaust pipe end just a bit shorter ?

I installed it, as i drove it a bit after installing it I had to tighten the bolts down a couple of times because it would slip and slightly be angled. It hasn't moved which I have liked. I'm pretty sure i slipped it on all the way to the Y pipe of the exhaust. There's not a ton of play on the hangers.

The exhaust hangers are rubber. That means they allow some movement. You could replace them with rigid mounts. But I'd probably adjust things to provide a bit more clearance, if it was me.

Mine does not hit anywhere. I'd roll under there again and see where the pipe came out at.
