So the wife does not like us driving with no doors, which I try to do on most days. While down in Vegas we saw someone with tube/half doors and she thought she would like those. Recently sprung for some relatively cheap Tactik doors ($300 for all 4). Not quite sure how I felt about them at first but after rolling around for the day, and getting feedback from the wife and youngest daughter (she absolutely loves them), I think we'll stick with them for a bit. Curious about other's experiences with tube/half doors.

Those look great. How's the latch mechanism? I had half doors and tube doors on an old YJ, and the latches always seemed fiddly.

I have the same setup as you. Love the doors! The mirrors are great but I had to use a bolt and nut so they wouldn't fold when an 18 wheeler passed coming at us.

I was considering a set recently, but the wife wasn't convinced that we would use them that much & the last thing I need is to find space for 4 doors that aren't on the Jeep.

They look good, my wife likes the half doors too so we have a set. I really like the mirrors that they came with. I haven’t found a mirrors i like yet.

Thanks to all for the responses. We drove about 100 miles round trip today and the wife and daughter had glowing reviews. My youngest and I fiddled around for a bit yesterday to fix the clanking, and they're relatively quiet on the road/highway. The latch mechanism seems solid, although my dad suggested I could tighten them up even more. All things considered, $300 well spent.
