Tire pressure and TPMS. If I want to run tire pressure under 30 psi for better ride, how to disarm the TPMS alerts? Or can you disarm it?

I've got a Bulldog GT Platinum that does it, but they're not exactly cheap. The only reason I have it is because it was in the center console when I bought the Jeep.
The JScan combo is much more affordable. The OBDII tool linked above is $32 and the JScan single VIN license is $19. Can't beat that for affordable.

I have the scanner coming. How do I get the Vin license?

Download the app for whatever phone you're using. If you have the scanner plugged in, connecting to it will pop up licensing options. If the scanner hasn't arrived yet, you can go under the SETTINGS button and purchase the license.

I have a new question for all. Today I scanned my Jeep, a 2018 jku and it’s showing a B201A Tpms code.
I know it means low voltage but is it referring to the Tpms system or could there be battery issues.
If I use my JScan to turn off the tpms will take solve the problem?

You could turn off the TPMS and see what it does for that code, most of us do turn it off.

Or maybe it's already disabled for the reason you have the Code.

Ok, I disabled the Tpms and rescanned it and the same A210B came up.
The battery is 5 years old and given us no problems.
Is this something to worry about or not?

I have a related question. If one lets the air out of the tires to say 20 lbs. the TPMS light will come on the dash. Is that all that it will do. Will the Jeep go into limp mode or something like that ?? If all that happens is the TPMS light comes on, why worry about going through the trouble of resetting the limit through the OBD. ?

I don’t think anything will happen other than the annoying sound and the tire sign on the dash! I would like to think and show that all is ok.
