Hey all. Brand new to owning a Jeep. Mine is a 2013 jk sport very basic. It does not have a power port in the back seat or cargo area. Any suggestions on where wiring may be or what this is? Thanks

If there is wiring it would be on the right side.

The second image is the guide for the tailgate, don't mess with that. If it get's out of alignment, your gate can close wonky.

Beyond that, I'm unsure what the "this" is in your question.

this is this? Deerhunter

It's my understanding that Jeep put in wiring harness on right or left side .
They all didn't get the actual power point but supposedly the wiring is there.
This is just what I have read in the past . Let us know what you find so we
can have some solid evidence . THX

There is likely a power and ground wire behind the large plastic cover on the right (passenger) side.
It may be visible by lifting out the carpet that goes over the wheel well towards the back corner.
That carpet should just be held in place under the lip of tub.

So all JK’s regardless of model have that wiring for a power point ?
Mines a 2012 stripper 2 door sport.

I went looking for the rear defroster/rear wiper harness on the left side and it doesn't exist.

Hardtop is not original to this jeep.

Anyone have a link to either the plug, pin out or actual power port part?

Ok you have a 2 door . It sounds like the 4 doors got the harness on the passenger side . I suspect it’s in the same wiring loom that goes to Sub .
The 2 door may be a completely diff animal when the factory did the wiring

Yes. I suspect it's cheaper to make all the harnesses identical, and just leave things like the power port and sub-woofer empty if the vehicle doesn't get those items.
Oh most def . I eventually plan on a fridge . When comes the time will peel back carpet and hope it’s there . If not will report in .
Many other things I’m doing before the fridge

Did yours come with the inverter? Both of ours have it, but I don't know if it was standard on all JKs or part of an option package.

Given the prices of things like the ARB cooler, I'd most likely buy a $150 mini-fridge from Amazon and add a latch to it.

No . I have no visible power in the back . Which is why was thinking of 12V power point .
Yeah like an Amazon fridge or something . Seen a reasonable size for about 3-400 CDN.
I know they make the higher end fridges for about 1K .
Just won’t be using a ton .
Mostly to keep water and lunches cool. The odd overnight as well.

Not quite.
The power for the sub is on the passenger side - whether equipped with a factory sub or not this power and ground wire appears to be present.
The wiring for the rear window & wiper are on the left (driver) side of the vehicle. I have not looked in a soft top-only model to see if this is a standard harness (regardless of options).
