Discovered that Core 4x4 track bar does have a minimum lift . They advertise will work 0-6”.

I’m at about 1-2” ish lift with Rubicon suspension .

The track bar taps stock diff cover😡😡 when flexing it out .

So been looking at Steer Smarts Yeti or Teraflex Monster TB.

The upper two brands do bend the bar up more on frame side to help clear the diff cover . It looks like the Yeti is angled forward a little more as well .

With solid bars manufacturer can bend a solid bar more than compared to a tubed style bar . As a tube will crimp and loose strength if bent to much on a small radius

So me thinks will order the Yeti . Thoughts or input would be appreciated if your running a Yeti or Teraflex .
Thanks

If you zoom up on pic can see the red paint on cover .

Maybe just put a flat spot on the track bar where it's rubbing.

I don’t think this would help to much unfortunately . It’s rubbing diff cover about half way down . To completely clear vertical travel it needs about 1/2” ish to be taken off of bar . The bar has 5/16 wall thickness .

I also considered increasing bump stop but then that would limit up travel significantly . It kinda blows TBH as the Core TB is made very well. Greasable on both ends ,Poly bushing on axle side , Forged Johnnie Joint on frame side . Just not enough clearance for current set up.

Will hang onto it and may use when I do 2 1/2” lift . Will see how the Yeti works out .

My biggest concern right now is when it hits diff cover and limits travel . Puts a huge amount of stress on frame side track bar bracket when hung up and breaking it off .

That would be bad when out in the middle of nowhere .

A raised track bar bracket would give you more clearance.

Appreciate the response.

Keeping the geometry of the front end suspension components is critical to a smooth operating Jeep.

Using a front TB relocation bracket will cause the Drag Link and TB to be out of parallel which would adversely effect the handling

The following is a pic of my current set up . The Drag Link & TB are more / less parallel .

To give you guys an idea . First pic is of CORE.
Second pic is of stock@ bottom
Teraflex @ middle
Steer Smarts @ top.
See how all three bend quite a bit close to frame mount .
Where the CORE hardly bends at all at frame mount .
That's the problem of the CORE. I don't even know if it provide
enough clearance on a 2 1/2" lift .
The Steer Smart and TF also Angle the TB forward
a bit to help with clearance .
When I originally mounted jacked up both sides
of front axle independently to check clearance . Maxed out
jack and all seemed good. Apparently needed to jack higher
to get full picture of what's going on .

Kinda sux, that Core bar looks beefy, I would of probably chosen it too. Actually, this brand has been popping up in Amazon lately and i was kind of starting to contemplate trying their products..

I had first heard of their control arms on JK Gear & Gadgets . Def liked the beefiness, quality & colour options. TB design needs to be addressed by manufacturer and or advertising corrected . In Canada available on Amazon & Ebay. In all honesty at this point couldn't recommend the TB to anyone as clearance not good on lower lifts .
Was originally going to go with Core control arms . Looking at other options now .
Sent an email to Steer Smarts with a few questions late last night . They responded first thing this morning . So going to order the Yeti. When it comes in will take side by side pics comparing Yeti to Core .
Will take some pics of install as well.
