Have a 2011 Jk 6 speed. Want to get more of a street but also good setup for moving down the trails. Not looking to do any rock crawling. I’m new to the off roading community so I’m unsure if I should go full commitment and do a long arm setup or go with a short arm setup and potentially one day switch to long arms. The rig will also be getting a v8 down the road.

My 2 cents, short arms. I don't plan on doing any rock crawling so I went with short arms on my 6" lift. I haven't had any issues yet. Long arms look bada$$ and definitely have a function.

I have fixed short arms on my 4" lift from Synergy. It corrects the caster and oliviates once source of steering issues. No complaints on or off road. Saves you a good bit of $.
