I’m going broke and insane (and need help diagnosing my Jeep)

Ok since then was there a increase in the tire size?

I'm not real familiar with the Supers but can't you change pulley sizes? Maybe drop down 1 size and see what happens?
No change in tire size. I just did a pull from a stop. It instantly starts stumbling with wide open throttle. So it’s stumbling even without boost. But will pull good and boost with half throttle. It has to be either fuel, air or ignition is my guess. Unless the tranny isn’t communicating with the engine properly.

My guess it's because it has a tighter converter now so there is no slipping as it was doing before. What about the pulley idea?

Have you replaced the air filter or closely inspected the old one?

Also the speedometer calibration ?

The pulley size wouldn’t matter if it’s doing this from a stop with no boost and the blow off valve open. Air filter is clean. I have no idea about the speedometer. How do I calibrate it? But like I said, two respectable shops have driven it while mapping and all systems where working properly. One shop deals with hot rods and turbo cars. The other was a Jeep specialist. They both said nothing is wrong but maybe bad gas/clogged fuel filter. O2 sensors were working and fuel trims looked good. No miss fires detected.

You just need a GPS, most cell phones you can get a GPS app then just go for a ride to at least 55 and check both readings. There are numerous ways to recalibrate your speedometer.

I used my Hypertec tuner, J scan or other dongles.

But if it revs fine while not in gear, it's clearly saying under load the engine is getting drug down. Even occurs with the blow-off valve open and no boost, I have to believe this is a tranny issue more than an engine issue. The engine definitely wants to go until the tranny gets involved.

Or it's just a question of everything being properly calibrated and married.

You said the fuel pump is fine/replaced/tested. The engine demand under load (in gear) would be greater than in park/neutral, so it would make sense that it doesn't bog at WOT when there is no load. Are you running an aftermarket throttle relay (Pedal Commander)? If yes, unhook it or turn it off to see if it is causing the issue. If no, the throttle position sensor could be giving an incorrect signal. The engine will get the incorrect spark/fuel mix from the computer, thinking the throttle position is more or less than it really is.

Forgive me. I've never owned a vehicle with a supercharger. Turbocharged vehicles, yes. Do you permanently remove the throttle body to install a supercharger?

No, but when I replaced my Throttle body with the Viper TB I would get the Lightening Bolt and limp mode. I then found out I had to do the relearn and no more limp mode or lightning bolt.

I data logged it myself and sent it to Diablo and Rippmods. Check out this email from Ripp. It was aamco the whole time. They talked so much crap on my Jeep. Kept telling me it was the supercharger. I spent over $900 trying to fix it. Yet it’s the new transmission screwing everything up.

I hope they make it right...on all accounts. I have somehow made friends with two different guys over the years, who's family owned an AAMCO franchise. Both were super solid dudes who knew transmissions in and out. I am not defending AAMCO, but I really hate to hear that you have been getting the run around from a shop that clearly doesn't believe they are to blame.

What pisses me off is they blamed my engine and supercharger from the get go. They test drove it after the new tranny was installed and told me there’s a rattling sound “like marbles” coming from my engine and I should be getting way more horsepower. The idiots didn’t realize the tranny was in fail-safe mode and the rattling was probably a loose bolt or a lost socket in the tranny. Who knows.
When I first drove it and realized there was something wrong, I took it right back to them. Since it was a weekend and they were “closed”, they literally closed the door on me and I heard them say my Jeep was a pos. Then they got in their cars and left. I talked to the manager, Brian, and he kept telling me to take it to an automotive shop. It’s not a transmission issue. Which I did twice. They both couldn’t find anything wrong with my engine. Which made them both think it was somehow fuel related. Along with replacing every part I could think of, I also dropped my fuel tank and replaced a perfectly fine $366 fuel pump. All I know is they better give me a brand new transmission with a brand new torque converter and have a different AAMCO install it. A reimbursement of my stack of receipts would be nice too. The AAMCO in Cour D’alene ID is a complete joke.
