Just wanting to get some reviews from Members who have them and the good and bad about each Model.

I tried the Blackvue 2 Camera system and while it took decent videos, you always had to be near Wifi with the camera and be connected to Wifi just to find your videos on the app and download them. That was just to get them from the camera to the SD card.

There really wasn't anywhere for me to place the rear-facing camera and the double-sided tape wasn't all that great for the roll bar, so I had zip-tied it. Eventually the rear camera quit working after a 4-5 months. Finally, the front-facing camera fell off of the front windshield. I just never bothered to put it back.

I had a basic Rexing camera for a while before I had my JK and it was ok, it just randomly quit on me one day after about 8 months.

I plan on doing more research on cameras before buying another one.

Yea this is the whole idea I had for making this Thread so us newby's to the Cameras could get a good one first off.

I have the ROVE R2-4k dash cam. It's my 2nd dash cam from them. Had one in my WJ but sold it with the cam in it.

I've got an Aukey. Not this exact one (the one I bought is no longer avail) but Ive got two different models and they're great!

1080p is good enough. 4K if you have a super computer for editing and storage. A kit that has a rear camera and gps is perfect.
Spending big $ won't get you anything special.
I prefer suction cup mount for the front as opposed to glue on.
My rear camera is mounted to the bottom of the bumper, next to the trailer hitch,
Most say to use a 32MB card, but larger cards seem to have no problem.

Don
Edit: plugged into dash power outlet.

And hiding the wires is easy with the jeeps windshield trim and roll bar.

I installed this mirror/dash cam but it don't look like they make it anymore. I did not hook up the reverse set-up I use as a rear view mirror and it records front and rear. I have a separate camera hooked up to the nav system for a back-up camera.
