Hey Guys,
i'm new with Jeep, is it normal to get very warm under the dashboard and around the shifter? even fells a lill uncomfortable on the leg because of the heat

Louie, I have the same problem in same locations in my 14 JKU. For reasons unknown, if the fan is not running, I get very warm air, to the point of being uncomfortable in the front foot area wells. Seems like airflow from the engine bay is somehow vented directly into the front cabin area. I'm sure the tranny and xfer case fluid levels are good as I had both changed recently (problem was present before the services were done).

Check the exhaust manifold heat shield. I had this same issue and it felt like a blowtorch on my right foot. Turns out the shield on the driver's side had broken loose and wasn't covering the entire exhaust manifold. New one was installed and it fixed the issue.

FLGeezer...I'm gonna ask a stupid question...where in the engine bay would the exhaust manifold heat shields be located on a 14 JKU?
