Maybe you got a bad connection on No 3, might check to see if they are tight. Your fuel level in the tank won't set off a CEL.

If you had the battery disconnected you just did the ECM reset, so just drive it.

I replaced guts into a new shell and had that blank cut at my local Ace Hardware store. Still works after 2 years. No programming needed.
